Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect captured on surveillance video during a burglary at the La Fonda Paisa restaurant in downtown Silver Spring earlier this month.
On July 7th, at around 2:58 a.m., the suspect broke into La Fonda Paisa restaurant in the 7900 block of Georgia Ave. The suspect attempted to pry the door open and shattered the glass to gain entry, then stole an undetermined amount of money from the tip jar and two cash drawers, according to an MCPD press release.

Police described the suspect as a Black male wearing a black and white t-shirt with red sleeves, ripped jeans, and black and white Nike sneakers.
