Rockville-based natural and organic grocery store chain MOM’s Organic Market will open its new downtown Silver Spring store on Friday, September 20.
A spokesperson confirmed the opening via email this morning, noting that more information will be announced soon for the store’s September 20-23 grand opening weekend.
MOM’s is the anchor retail tenant at the Atwell on Spring mixed-use apartment complex, located at the former Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission headquarters at 8789 Georgia Ave.
Tlux Nail Lounge is expected to open next to MOM’s in the coming months.
“MOM’s is a wonderful anchor to have at our building,” Bozzuto Vice President of Development Devon Hastie said to the Source in 2020, “a grocery store, in particular, a grocery store focused on sustainable, healthy food for our residents.”
