GoodVets has pushed back its opening in Downtown Silver Spring to Winter 2024, according to updated signage.
We reported in February that the Chicago-based chain of veterinary clinics would take over the former location of Sip & Develop at 8501 Fenton St. An opening was previously planned for the summer.
GoodVets is one of four new tenants set to open in the Downtown Silver Spring development in the coming months, including Chido’s Tex-Mex Grill, Gold’s Gym, and Roaming Rooster.
Specific opening dates have not been announced.
The Downtown Silver Spring GoodVets location will be one of several locations opening in the region and will join over 40 clinics nationwide, including locations on K Street and at The Wharf in D.C., which is now open, and Crystal City in Virginia.
GoodVets representatives did not respond to emailed requests for comment.
