Montgomery County Police need help to identify two suspects from surveillance footage of an armed robbery at the Holiday Inn Express on Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring on January 15.
According to a press release, one of the suspects demanded cash from the registers and assaulted the clerk before stealing money, while the other acted as a lookout. They fled the scene in a black four-door Chevrolet sedan with unknown license plates and headed toward D.C.
Police described the first suspect as a Black male in his late 30s to early 40s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a heavy build. He wore blue coveralls, black boots, and a black mask and was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
The second suspect is a Black male aged between his late 30s and early 40s, approximately 5’10” tall and of heavy build. He wore a black hoodie, blue jeans, gray New Balance sneakers, black gloves, and a black facemask.
