Easter Sunday Dining Options in Silver Spring: Buffets, Brunches, and Takeout

Several restaurants in and around downtown Silver Spring will offer brunch, dinner, or takeout meals for those who don’t plan to cook on Easter Sunday.

Be sure to check with each restaurant beforehand, as many require reservations for the holiday.

All Set Restaurant & Bar at 8630 Fenton St. offers a special Easter dinner for four for $225, which features a choice of Classic Beef Pot Roast, Grilled Snapper, or Honey Baked Ham.

Each meal includes skillet cornbread, herb-roasted potatoes, garlic string beans, glazed carrots, and whoopie pie for dessert. The meals will be served cold, and reheating instructions will be provided.

Orders are due by Wednesday, April 16. Pickup starts on Saturday, April 19, from 3–5 p.m. at All Set or Fryer’s Roadside, and delivery options are available for an additional fee.

Meanwhile, J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse at 8606 Colesville Road hosts its annual Easter celebration, featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet curated by chef-owner Jerry Hollinger.

Diners can expect carving stations with Slow-Roasted Ribeye and Roast Leg of Lamb, a Belgian Waffle Station with fresh strawberries and salted caramel apple compote, Fried Chicken with Hot Honey, Baked Crème Brûlée French Toast, and much more.

The Easter buffet is $49 per person, with discounts for children and optional upgrades for bottomless sangria.

For a sweet twist, Shuga x Ice at Solaire Social (8200 Dixon Ave.) will introduce a new African-inspired seasonal ice cream flavor on Friday, featuring the agbalumo fruit celebrated for its balance of tartness and sweetness.

In addition to the agbalumo ice cream available this weekend, the Shuga x Ice menu includes the Puff Puff Sundae, which consists of a waffle made from West African puff puff, two scoops of ice cream, chocolate Milo dust, and a drizzle of condensed milk.

Other available flavors include Tea and Bread (tea-infused ice cream with buttered Agege bread), Gbas Gbos (spicy chocolate), Love Nwantinti (malta-flavored), Vimto (red grape and raspberry), Madagascar Vanilla, and Nebadaye (dairy-free moringa).

Finally, RAMMY Award-winning Zinnia at 9201 Colesville Road offers a special Easter brunch with a sweet and savory breadbasket, fresh organic fruit, and a selection of various entrées, including Eggs Benedict, Cardamom French Toast, Braised Lamb Hash, and Crab Cake Tartine.

Each $60 meal includes complimentary beverages and bottomless mimosas, while a $35 kids’ menu offers access to an adult-supervised Easter Egg Hunt in Zinnia’s gardens.
