A hibachi-style quick-serve restaurant has signed a lease to open an outlet in the Hillandale Shopping Center, according to an announcement by the company’s leasing representative.
Quickway Japanese Hibachi will join several other restaurants in the center, which is on New Hampshire Avenue just north of the Beltway,
The 2,000-square-foot restaurant will feature the teppanyaki style of open-grill cooking to order. The hibachi menu includes tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp and salmon served with mixed vegetables, rice or noodles.
The menu also includes bento boxes (with a make-your-own option), specialty and sushi rolls, and soft drinks.
The typical hours of operation for these stores are Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. This is no information yet on an opening date.
The company has seven outlets, mostly in the Baltimore area, and also just signed a lease for a Herdon, Va. location.
