Enjoy. A brief performance from Maryland Youth Ballet students started the celebration. With the appearance of the turkey, the parade was off. Bowie State University’s Symphony of Sound was the first of several marching bands. It’s not Thanksgiving without Pilgrims Senator-elect Chris Van Hollen was the first of many local politicians to cruise the parade route. These colorful Bolivian dancers are a crowd favorite. The penguin got a cool ride in this classic Thunderbird. That’s a big dreidel. The Nutcracker was in the house.
