Forever 21 Red May be Closed Following Bankruptcy Filing

Clothing retailer Forever 21 Red in Ellsworth Place is on a list of stores that could close following the Sunday bankruptcy filing of parent company Forever 21.

The store opened in September 2016 as the first of that concept to operate in Maryland.

The list of 178 company stores that may be closed was first reported by CNBC.

However, the company noted that it was attempting to renegotiate leases and may keep some stores open, CNBC reported.

There will be liquidation sales by the end of the year at the locations that will be shut down.
