Detectives Seek Help Identifying Suspect in September Incidents

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are still investigating two September incidents and are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect, according to a press release.

The department reports that about 1:27 a.m. on Sept. 17, the Children’s Hospital Foundation office located at 801 Roeder St. was burglarized.

Earlier that night, a man police believe was the same suspect attempted to force his way into the National Ready Mixed Concrete office at 900 Spring St., but was unable to gain entry.

The department has released a surveillance video and photo (below) of the suspect.

Anyone with information regarding these burglaries or the suspect involved can call the Investigative Section at 240.773.6870. 

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1.866.411.TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.

The foundation is expected to move into Inventa Towers as part of a consolidation of the offices of the Children’s National Health System.
