A new restaurant taking the place of the shuttered AG Kitchen has begun hiring, according to fliers taped to the windows.
AG Kitchen closed last year after a short run in Silver Spring. At the time, parent company The Restaurant Group said it would open a new concept in that space in 2017.
The windows of the space are covered over and the fliers give no indication what type of restaurant will be opening there.
However, The Restaurant Group’s home page offers a clue. Among the logos of the company’s various concepts shown on that page is one for “Estate Barbecue,” noting that it’s “Coming Soon.”
We have contacted two company representatives asking for comment and will update readers when more information is available.
