Detectives with the county police department’s 3rd District Investigative Section are investigating the robbery of two people in Ellsworth Place and are asking for help to identify the suspects. The incident occurred at about 1:45 p.m. on Dec. 1 and the victims were a male and a female. Both suspects are male and the department has released surveillance video of the two in hopes someone can assist with identification.
Spice Street, a restaurant from the owner/operator of Café of India in the District of Columbia, will open for carryout and delivery next week, according to a post on the outlet’s Facebook page. The management is targeting a mid-week opening and will confirm the date on Monday.
Detectives from the county police’s Major Crimes Division have released surveillance video of a suspect in a recent bank robbery and are seeking help to identify him. The robbery occurred at about 1:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the TD Bank branch located at 8661 Colesville Rd. in Silver Spring.
County detectives with the Major Crimes Division are still investigating an attempted armed robbery of a food truck in downtown Silver Spring that took place in October. The police have now released surveillance video of the suspect in the incident, which took place at about 5:40 p.m. on Oct. 12.
