Clothing retailer Forever 21 Red in Ellsworth Place is on a list of stores that could close following the Sunday bankruptcy filing of parent company Forever 21. The store opened in September 2016 as the first of that concept to operate in Maryland.
While the city is not thrilled to see Washington Adventist Hospital close, it does represent a “once in a lifetime” opportunity, according to Takoma Park Mayor Kate Stewart.
