With temperatures finally rising, it won’t be long until Cal Ripken College Summer League Baseball returns to Blair High School. The Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts will start their season on June 4 and play 18 home games in June and July.

Two incidents of hate and antisemitic vandalism at Northwood High School are being investigated by administrators and Montgomery County Police, including the “posting of professionally designed flyers containing horrific hate speech,” according to a letter posted by school principal Jonathan Garrick.
