Almost all of the businesses in Spring Center in the 8600 block of 16th Street are now closed or relocated in anticipation of Purple Line construction.
The owner of the popular Zed’s Café on Georgia Avenue is planning a new restaurant and music venue on Colesville Road down the block from The Fillmore Silver Spring.
Raynold Mandizabal, the chef-owner of Urban Butcher on Georgia Avenue, plans to open a second restaurant in Central, the new development on the corner of Fenton Street and Wayne Avenue.
