Underground Pizza Company will open later this year in the space formerly occupied by Olazzo at 8235 Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring, according to a report from The MoCo Show.
Ellsworth Place owner GBT Realty Corporation and Cana Development today announced that Commas, a new food hall, will take over a portion of the second level of Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring. The food hall is slated to open in the spring of 2022.

DoubleTree by Hilton Silver Spring DC North is now open, according to a joint announcement from DoubleTree by Hilton and new operator Linchris Hotel Corporation. The hotel, located at 8777 Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring, operated temporarily as Hotel Silver Spring after it was acquired by Plymouth, Mass.-based Linchris over the summer.
