Aspen Hill’s Kobe Japan Hibachi & Sushi has opened a second, quick-service location in Takoma Park, according to an Instagram post from the Takoma-Langley Crossroads Development Authority.
“Let’s give a big warm welcome to our newest addition….KOBE JAPAN HIBACHI EXPRESS!!!,” the Instagram post reads. “Serving delicious express hibachi, bento boxes, and more!”
The restaurant is located in the former Chinatown Restaurant location at 1163 University Blvd. East in Takoma Park, and can be reached at (240) 531-2900. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Takeout orders can be placed online in addition to over the phone.
The MoCo Show originally reported the second location coming to Takoma Park last May.
