Discounted tickets are now available for the Takoma Trukgarten beer festival, according to an announcement from Main Street Takoma.
The event will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 4 in the parking lot next to the Takoma Park Silver Spring Co-op at 201 Ethan Allen Ave.
Local breweries providing multiple craft beers and cider will include Silver Branch Brewing Co., Smoketown Brewing, Manor Hill Brewing, Streetcar 82, DC Brau, Peabody Heights Brewing Co., Union Craft Brewing and Anxo Cider. The Girl and the Vine, Zinnia and Takoma Bev Co. will be pouring for some of the breweries.
Pho Wheels, Soko Butcher, Chero’s Grill and DC Pretzel Company will provide food, including vegetarian options.
Discounted tickets are available online until June 1 at 11:59 p.m.:
- Beer Fan—$25 for entry, six tasting tickets and a souvenir glass, and
- Beer Lover—$35 for entry, 12 tasting tickets with souvenir glass.
Tickets will be $35 and $45, respectively and will be available at the gate beginning at noon, June 4. Non-drinkers and those under 21 will be admitted free.
Each ticket is good for one four-ounce pour, and additional tickets will be available.
Takoma Radio WOWD-FM will provide music; leashed dogs are welcome with the understanding that the pavement gets hot.
Parking is available on the streets and in nearby lots.
