Suspects Sought in Armed Robbery at Chuck E. Cheese

Takoma Park Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individuals involved in an armed robbery at Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday evening.

At around 6:46 p.m. on Saturday, Takoma Park Police responded to the Chuck E. Cheese entertainment center on University Blvd. after an armed robbery. Police spokesperson Cathy Plevy said the victim had just left the restaurant and was heading to their car when two suspects, one with a black handgun, approached them. The victim went back into the restaurant for safety before rejoining their family. When they headed back to their car, the suspects threatened them with the gun and demanded their belongings. The victim gave in to the demands to protect themselves and their family.

The victim was not seriously physically injured during the armed robbery.

Plevy described the suspects as three black males, aged approximately 13-15 years old. The first suspect was last seen wearing a red hoodie and black mask and was carrying a black handgun. The second suspect was last seen wearing a black coat and black mask. The third individual was the driver of the suspect vehicle and was last seen wearing a black mask.

Lookout information was provided to all surrounding jurisdictions, Plevy said.
