Montgomery County Police are currently investigating a burglary that took place on Jan. 11 at an apartment in the 8500 block of Garland Ave. in Takoma Park.
According to an MCPD press release, the investigation revealed that the suspect unlawfully entered the apartment between 8:30 and 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, and absconded with property and money. When the victim opened the front door and encountered the suspect in the living room, the suspect fled the apartment with the stolen items and money, heading toward Domer Avenue.
Detectives have examined the apartment’s exterior camera footage and have obtained a video of the suspect (video below).
