Takoma Park’s Muối Tiêu Vietnamese Food Truck Hits the Market

Vietnamese restaurant Muối Tiêu has put its food truck up for sale.

This move follows the establishment’s transition to a brick-and-mortar location in January, taking over the former location of Mark’s Kitchen, which closed last year after 32 years of operation.

Initially launched as a food truck in December 2022, woman-owned and family-run Muối Tiêu’s journey has led them to an iconic space in the heart of Takoma Park. “This food truck was the beginning of Muối Tiêu’s journey [in] December 2022,” chef-owner Thuy-Tu Tran wrote. “In one year it’s brought us all the way to an iconic space in the heart of Takoma Park. And while this is bittersweet, we’ve decided it’s time to say goodbye to our charming little truck so we can focus our efforts on the [brick-and-mortar] restaurant. We hope it will bring whoever gets it next as much success and good memories as it brought us.”

Those interested in acquiring the food truck can contact the restaurant via email at [email protected].
