People’s Book opened in Takoma Park last summer and will hold its first-ever Local Author Bazaar this Saturday.
Local authors will be on hand to connect with readers and sign books featuring a wide range of genres, including poetry, children’s books, short stories, memoirs, wellness guides, science fiction, graphic novels, and more.
Additionally, event co-sponsors The Inner Loop and The Writer’s Center will be present to offer information and resources for established and aspiring writers.

The Local Author Bazaar will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday outside People’s Book at 7014-A Westmoreland Ave. in Takoma Park and will be held rain or shine. Admission is free, but RSVPs are encouraged.
