UPDATE: Kevin was found safe and unharmed this morning.
An 8th Grade student from Takoma Park Middle School has been reported missing by his family.
Kevin Franklin was last seen yesterday afternoon in the College Gardens Area of Rockville.
A friend of the family posted on a local listserv this morning: “As of last night there is indication he is going online, meaning he is finding access to a computer. His family is scouring libraries and other places with public computers in the Rockville area, where he lives. He could also be in our neighborhood, where he goes to school. Please be on the lookout at the Silver Spring library, Takoma Park library, or other places with computers and wifi access.”
